TAC or Total active cannabinoids represents the total amount of active cannabinoids at the time of lab testing. This figure includes all of the active compounds that the product holds.
THC is the primary cannabinoid responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. The amount of THC in a product can vary widely based on the method of consumption and the strain at the source of that product. The high that is produced is often enhanced by the “entourage effect” which is a combination of multiple cannabinoids in conjunction with various terpenes and individual body chemistry.
Terpenes are aromatic compounds found in cannabis that contribute to each strain's unique flavor and aroma. Total terpenes represents the combined concentration of all terpene compounds detected in the product, which may influence the overall experience through the entourage effect.

Happy Valley Head Stash is
Hand Selected:
Happy Valley’s cultivation leadership identify any standout batches of flower as the life cycles are finishing up and flags the plants that meet the standards for Head Stash quality. As the name implies, this is the “best of the best” with fully intact trichomes and a robust terpene profile that Happy Valley’s experienced growers would like to keep for themselves.
Slow Dried:
The hand selected standout plants are then separated from their parent batch and whole plants are hung up to dry slowly, using cool temperatures and specific humidity setpoints to control the speed at which they dry. Water activity within the plants is monitored twice daily, seven days a week, to ensure the proper rate of drying and that the desired targets are met before trimming the flower.
Meticulously Trimmed:
Once the selected plants have stabilized and reached their ideal water activity in the dry room, the flowers are carefully bucked off the stalks and stems, and tediously hand trimmed to the highest quality by Happy Valley’s most precise trimmers.
Long Cured:
After being hand trimmed, the selected flowers are carefully placed into airtight food grade stainless steel C-Vaults with ample head room to begin a lengthened cure process. Happy Valley’s cure room team continues to monitor the water activity within the flower, while opening and closing the C-Vaults periodically to allow the buds to breathe, pushing each batch to its highest potential with the best cure possible.
